Panel Mount Touch Screen PCs for Cabinet Doors and Control Consoles
Panel mount PCs cut into a cabinet door, machine guard or console so the touch screen sits flush with the front and the computer stays inside the enclosure. Available from 10.1 to 24 inches with resistive or PCAP touch and a front IP65 or front IP66 bezel, they are the embedded HMI most machine builders and control panel builders specify.
Options include 4:3, 5:4 and full HD formats, 9 to 48 V DC or AC power, UL-listed and Class I Div 2 models and EN 50155 variants for rolling stock, suited to control cabinets, packaging and process lines, kiosks and security consoles where the cabinet protects the connectors and the front is wiped or hosed. What to Specify in an Industrial Panel Mount Computer
A panel mount PC lives in a cabinet door, so the cut-out and the front seal come first. Format, front rating, I/O and power input decide how it fits the door and how long it lasts behind it.
Cut-Out and Format
Match the 4:3, 5:4 or widescreen format and bezel size to the existing cut-out so a replacement fits without machining the door.
Front IP65 or Front IP66
IP65 for wiped fronts, IP66 for hosed ones. The cabinet protects the connectors, so the front rating is the one that matters.
Modular or Integrated
Modular designs separate the display and compute module, so the computer can be upgraded later without changing the cut-out.
Cabinet I/O
Rear-facing serial, digital I/O and dual Ethernet keep PLC and fieldbus wiring inside the enclosure.
Power Input
9 to 48 V DC terminal blocks for cabinet supplies, or AC adapters for kiosks, desks and operator consoles.
