High Brightness Industrial Displays for Outdoor and In-Cab Use
Sunlight readable monitors put a 1,000 nit or brighter screen where daylight falls directly on the glass, so operators can read the display in open cabs, on decks, in yards and at outdoor kiosks. Available from 7 to 55 inches with PCAP, resistive or SAW touch and sealing from a front IP65 bezel to a fully sealed IP67 chassis, they stay legible where a standard industrial monitor washes out.
Options include optical bonding against reflections and internal fogging, brightness up to 2,000 nits, wide-temperature panels for cold yards and hot cabs, and open frame, panel mount and chassis builds, suited to vehicles, ports, agriculture, rail and outdoor self-service where glare, heat and condensation decide the specification.

What to Specify in a Sunlight Readable Touch Screen
Light on the glass decides how bright a sunlight readable touch screen has to be. Bonding, glass treatment, temperature range and mounting then decide whether it stays readable at noon.
1,000 to 2,000 Nits
Match the brightness to the light on the glass: 1,000 nits for shaded and in-cab positions, 1,500 nits and above for direct sun.
Optical Bonding
Bonded glass removes the air gap, cutting internal reflections and condensation so contrast holds up outdoors.
Anti-Glare Surface
Anti-glare or anti-reflective treatments on the front glass cut reflections from the sky and surrounding lights.
Wide Temperature
Wide-temperature panels for cold yards and hot cabs, with most models rated from −10 °C to 60 °C or wider.
Sealing and Mounting
