Standalone Switch Boards for Vehicles and Enclosures
An Ethernet switch board is a complete managed switch on a single rugged board: it runs from power-up, needs no host computer and mounts inside a vehicle, rack or sealed enclosure. Sizes run from compact 84 x 55 mm boards to PC/104 stacks and 3.5 inch-class boards, with eight to 28 ports and 10G SFP+ uplinks on the larger designs.
Options include Layer 2+ and Layer 3 software, IEEE-1588 PTP and TSN builds, SFP fiber sockets, latching I/O connectors, heat sinks or heat spreaders and wide-range DC input, suited to military vehicles, rail equipment and unmanned systems where commercial switches cannot take the shock, vibration or temperature.
