A Qualcomm QCS5430 board runs a Dragonwing processor that is pin-compatible with the QCS6490, with a Kryo 670 CPU in six or eight-core configurations and an Adreno 642L GPU on a 6 nm chip. CPU, graphics, camera and AI performance are set by the feature pack chosen, so one board design can serve several products. The range covers SBCs and industrial motherboards built around the QCS5430.
Options include Spectra camera inputs, Hexagon AI acceleration, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and M.2 expansion, running Qualcomm Linux or Android, suited to smart cameras, retail devices, handhelds and HMIs where the QCS6490 would be more than the product needs.
