The LMP-0501-ST-S3-24-V2 is the single-mode ST fibre, standard temperature build of the Antaira LMP-0501-24-V2 series: a Layer 2 managed switch with four 30 W PoE+ ports, one 100Base-FX port to 30 km, 12 to 55 V DC input and a -10 °C to 70 °C rating, for indoor SCADA and surveillance links.

LMP-0501-ST-S3-24-V2 Overview

Remote cabinets fed from 12 or 24 V DC often still need PoE+ for cameras and a fibre uplink back to the control room. The LMP-0501-ST-S3-24-V2 is a Layer 2 managed industrial PoE switch in the Antaira LMP-0501-24-V2 series series, with four PoE+ copper ports and one 100Base-FX single-mode ST fibre port for links up to 30 km, rated -10 °C to 70 °C. A voltage booster on its 12 to 55 V DC input makes that possible. The ST connector matches existing ST patching.

Its four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports support IEEE 802.3af/at at up to 30 W per port, from a 120 W budget at 24 to 55 V DC, or 90 W at 12 V DC. Management covers IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, QoS with 802.1p, CoS/ToS and DSCP, IGMP v1/v2/v3 for up to 1024 groups, LACP, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3 with RMON and Modbus TCP. Ring redundancy uses ITU-T G.8032 ERPS with recovery under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and it also handles static routes and DHCP Option 82. Set-up is by web console, CLI or RS232 console, with HTTPS, SSH and 802.1X for secure access.

Redundant 12 to 55 V DC inputs connect through a removable 6-contact terminal block, with reverse polarity and overload current protection and a relay contact rated 1 A at 24 V DC for alarms. A PoE ping alarm can power-recycle a port, and USB configuration backup and dual firmware images ease recovery.

The LMP-0501-ST-S3-24-V2 sits in an IP30 metal housing for DIN rail or optional wall mounting and is tested for shock, vibration and free fall to IEC 60068-2-27, -2-6 and -2-32. It carries FCC and CE marks, is RoHS compliant and comes with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. Antaira names power and utility, water, oil and gas, factory automation and ITS among its uses. The LMP-0501-ST-S3-24-T-V2 is the same switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C, the LMP-0501-ST-S3-V2 takes a 48 to 55 V DC input, and the LMP-0501-S3-24-V2 uses an SC fibre connector. We can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings before the switch ships.
