HDMI Over Cat6 and SDI Over Fibre for Long Cable Runs
A video extender carries a signal further than its own cable standard allows, so a source in one room can feed a display, recorder or switcher in another. The range covers HDMI over Cat6 transmitter and receiver pairs that run HDMI 2.0 at 4K60 over 10G copper on Cat6A cable, SDI fibre extenders on single-mode fibre, and reclocking repeaters for 3G-SDI and 12G-SDI.
Options include up to 10 km over single-mode fibre with an SFP port for other modules, an SDI loop-out at the fibre transmitter, eight channels of audio over the copper link and up to 16 channels of SDI audio on the fibre and repeater units, suited to stadiums, outside broadcast, campuses and industrial sites where cable runs are long.
