i.MX 8M Plus SBCs and Boards for Edge AI and Vision
An NXP i.MX 8M Plus board runs four Arm Cortex-A53 cores and a Cortex-M7 real-time core with a 2.3 TOPS NPU and two camera image signal processors on one chip, so a vision model and a control loop run on the same board. The range covers SBCs and industrial motherboards built around the i.MX 8M Plus.
Options include two Gigabit Ethernet ports with TSN on one, two CAN FD buses, 1080p60 H.265 video encode and decode, LPDDR4 or DDR4 memory with inline ECC and industrial temperature parts, running Yocto Linux or Ubuntu with the NXP eIQ tools, suited to machine vision, smart cameras, predictive maintenance and connected machine controllers.
