Resistive Touch Screen Displays for Gloved and Wet Operation
Resistive touch monitors register a press from any glove, a stylus or a wet finger, and ignore water and debris on the screen, which is why washdown lines, heavy industry and vehicles still specify them. Available from 5.7 to 42.5 inches in open frame, panel mount, chassis and rack mount builds, with sealing from a front IP65 bezel to IP66 and IP69K.
Options include sunlight-readable panels, marine displays designed to IEC 60945 requirements, vehicle-mount displays, military rack builds and stainless steel washdown models, suited to operators in work gloves, wet production areas and cabs.

What to Specify in a Glove-Ready Display
A glove-ready display uses resistive touch, which registers pressure rather than skin contact. Gloves, water and the mounting then decide which build suits the operator and the area.
