Winmate R05T100-IPD1HB 5.7″ Front IP65 Monitor with Resistive Touch and VGA LCD

Some machines only have room for a very small status or set-up screen in the control panel, and that screen still has to keep dust and water out at the front. The R05T100-IPD1HB is Winmate’s 5.7 inch industrial monitor for that job: a VGA panel, with front IP65 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets in a fanless metal housing. It connects to a separate industrial computer or controller and fits into cabinets, racks and fixtures.

The 5.7″ 640 x 480 panel runs at 900 nits with 300:1 contrast and 140 degree horizontal and 100 degree vertical viewing angles, which suits indoor control panels and machine fronts. Winmate also lists a higher-brightness panel as an option. The 4:3 format matches many existing HMI and SCADA screen layouts. Touch is optional: resistive touch, which works with gloved fingers or a stylus, or a protection glass without touch can be specified to suit the job.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs as options. Touch connects over a USB port, which is optional on this model. Set-up is through a five-key OSD. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, as is a remote controller. The R05T100-OFD1HB is the 5.7 inch open frame version for builders who fit their own bezel, and the R06L200-IPA1 is the 6.5 inch front IP65 model with a 700 nit panel.

The 5.7 inch monitor is rated IP65 at the front and is a panel mount design. It runs from 12 V DC, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, power cord and VGA and HDMI cables are supplied. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, and it carries CE and FCC marks.
