SAW touch monitors detect a touch by the way it absorbs sound waves travelling across plain glass, so there is no film layer over the screen and the image stays bright and clear. Available from 8.4 to 42.5 inches as open frame modules and rack mount displays, each also offered with resistive touch.
Options include high-brightness panels and large-format open frame sizes, suited to indoor kiosks, ticketing, gaming and control consoles where image clarity matters and the screen stays dry.

What to Specify in a SAW Touch Display
A SAW touch display keeps clear glass over the panel, so the image is close to the bare screen. Because water and dirt can register as touches, the environment decides whether it suits.
Clear Glass
No film layer over the panel, so brightness and clarity stay close to the bare screen behind the glass.
Keep It Dry
Water and dirt on the glass can register as touches, so SAW suits dry indoor positions and kiosks.
SAW or Resistive
Each model is also offered with resistive touch, for positions where gloved hands or water are expected.
Open Frame or Rack
