ATEX Panel PCs for Zone 2 and Class I Div 2 Sites
Intrinsically safe panel PCs are certified to operate where flammable gas or vapour may be present, so the HMI can sit at the process rather than behind a barrier. Available from 12 to 24 inches with PCAP or resistive touch and sealing from a front IP65 bezel to fully sealed IP66, they carry UL Class I Division 2 with ATEX Zone 2 and IECEx on selected models.
Options include chassis and panel-mount builds, stainless steel enclosures, optional 1,000 nit sunlight-readable panels and 9 to 36 V input, suited to oil and gas, petrochemical and wastewater sites where the operator station is inside the classified area.

What to Specify in a Hazardous Area HMI
In a classified zone, the marking on the equipment comes before any other specification. Zone, sealing, enclosure material and screen brightness then decide whether a hazardous area HMI suits the skid, offshore rig or process plant it serves.
Hazardous Area Certification
UL Class I Division 2 across the range, ATEX Zone 2 and IECEx on selected models: match the marking to the zone.
Front or Full Sealing
Front IP65 for panel mounting in a cabinet door, or fully sealed IP66 for panel PCs mounted in the open on site.
