Winmate R19ITWS-MHA3-EX 19″ Class I Division 2 HMI Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and PCAP Touch

Larger mimic and alarm screens are common on process control panels in classified areas, and the computer behind them has to carry the right hazardous location approval. The R19ITWS-MHA3-EX is Winmate’s 19 inch HMI panel PC for these locations: certified for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D, with a true flat edge-to-edge front sealed to IP65 and an aluminium, anti-corrosion treated housing.

An Intel Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake processor runs at 2.4 GHz with turbo up to 4.2 GHz, and two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM sockets hold 4 GB as standard and up to 32 GB, enough for SCADA clients and alarm handling. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD from 128 GB to 512 GB, with an optional removable 2.5 inch SSD bay so a drive can be changed at the panel, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise is available. The 19 inch SXGA screen shows 1280 x 1024 at 350 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles, under projected capacitive multi-touch.

The I/O covers two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel I211-AT and I219-LM controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports and one RS-232 port, DisplayPort 1.4 with optional HDMI 2.0 and an audio combo jack. A PCIe x16 slot with x4 signal takes a card up to 180 x 121 mm, alongside an mPCIe slot and an M.2 E-key slot for optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The R17ITWS-MHA1-EX is the 17 inch model at the same resolution, and the W22ITWS-MHB1-EX is the 21.5 inch widescreen model at 1920 x 1080.

Power is 9 to 29 V DC on a three-pin terminal block with a protection fuse, drawing 50 to 60 W, and a 12 V 120 W adapter is supplied. The R19ITWS-MHA3-EX is fanless, operates from -20 °C to 60 °C, stores from -40 °C to 80 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 445.7 x 370.5 x 93.8 mm and panel mounts in a 412 x 338 mm cut-out with the supplied clips, or fits a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.
