Winmate W24ITWS-MHA2-EX 23.8″ Class I Division 2 HMI Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and PCAP Touch

Where a control room layout is repeated out in a Class I, Division 2 area, operators expect the same widescreen view, not a cut-down local panel. The W24ITWS-MHA2-EX is Winmate’s 23.8 inch HMI panel PC for these locations: certified for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D, with a true flat edge-to-edge front sealed to IP65 and an aluminium, anti-corrosion treated housing.

An Intel Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake processor runs at 2.4 GHz with turbo up to 4.2 GHz, and two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM sockets hold 4 GB as standard and up to 32 GB, enough for SCADA clients and alarm handling. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD from 128 GB to 512 GB, with an optional removable 2.5 inch SSD bay so a drive can be changed at the panel, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise is available. The 23.8 inch FHD screen shows 1920 x 1080 at 250 nits with a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, under projected capacitive multi-touch.

The I/O covers two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel I211-AT and I219-LM controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports and one RS-232 port, DisplayPort 1.4 with optional HDMI 2.0 and an audio combo jack. A PCIe x16 slot with x4 signal takes a card up to 180 x 121 mm, alongside an mPCIe slot and an M.2 E-key slot for optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The W22ITWS-MHB1-EX is the 21.5 inch widescreen model with a 350 nit panel, and the R19ITWS-MHA3-EX is the 19 inch 1280 x 1024 model for a smaller cut-out.

Power is 9 to 29 V DC on a three-pin terminal block with a protection fuse, drawing 45 to 55 W, and a 12 V 120 W adapter is supplied. The W24ITWS-MHA2-EX is fanless, operates from -20 °C to 60 °C, stores from -40 °C to 80 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 603.6 x 373 x 91.4 mm and panel mounts in a 583 x 353 mm cut-out with the supplied clips, or fits a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.
