FCCR08L200-OFU1 Overview
An embedded screen has to fit the machine, not the other way round, so open frame monitors leave the enclosure to the builder. The R08L200-OFU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch open frame monitor: an 800 x 600 SVGA LCD at 600 nits with 600:1 contrast, housed in a metal frame that fixes behind your own front panel.
The panel shows 262,000 colours across an active area of 170.4 x 127.8 mm, with viewing angles of 150° horizontally and 130° vertically. Three front options cover most builds. A resistive touch screen works with gloves and styluses, SAW (surface acoustic wave) touch keeps a clear glass surface for good image clarity, and protection glass without touch suits display-only duties such as status or queue screens.
Video arrives over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs available as options, and a USB port connects the touch screen to the host PC. An optional audio line-in and twin speakers add sound for kiosk prompts. A five-key OSD panel on the rear handles brightness and picture settings. Where the screen sits in direct ambient light, the R08L200-OFU1TR offers the same 8.4 inch format with a transflective panel, and the R06L200-OFA1 is the smaller 6.5 inch option.
The R08L200-OFU1 runs from 12 V DC and ships with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and VGA and HDMI cables. It is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 251.2 x 174.8 x 49 mm and weighs 1.4 kg, with 75 x 75 mm VESA holes and rear mounting. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate lists industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as typical uses for its open frame range, along with ATMs, vending machines, airport information displays and mall kiosks.
