Winmate R06L200-OFA1 6.5″ Open Frame Monitor with 640 x 480 LCD at 700 Nits

Small machines and vending equipment often have room for a screen no bigger than a paperback, and the enclosure around it is usually the builder’s own design. The R06L200-OFA1 is Winmate’s 6.5 inch open frame monitor for that kind of build: a 640 x 480 LCD at 700 nits in a compact metal frame, ready to sit behind a front bezel you already make.

The panel has a 600:1 contrast ratio and shows 16.2 million colours across an active area of 132.48 x 99.36 mm, with viewing angles of 160° horizontally and 140° vertically. Touch is an option rather than a fixed feature: specify a resistive touch screen where operators press buttons on the display, or protection glass without touch where the screen only shows status. Resistive touch responds to a gloved finger or stylus, which suits workshop and kiosk use.

Video arrives over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs available as options, and a USB port carries the touch signal to the host where touch is fitted. An optional 3.5 mm audio line-in and twin speakers add sound for kiosk prompts. Brightness and picture settings are adjusted from a five-key OSD panel on the rear. For a larger screen in the same style, the R08L200-OFU1 steps up to 8.4 inch at 800 x 600, and the R10L600-OFP1 offers 10.4 inch with a 1200:1 contrast ratio.

The R06L200-OFA1 runs from 12 V DC and ships with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and cables. It is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 249 x 142.8 x 37.1 mm and mounts by VESA or rear fixing. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate lists industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as typical uses for its open frame range, along with ATMs, vending machines, airport information displays and mall kiosks.
