Winmate R08T200-IPT1HB 8.4″ Front IP65 Monitor with 1000 Nit SVGA Display and Resistive Touch

Small HMI screens on outdoor machinery, dispensers and gate systems have to stay readable in direct light and cope with rain and washing at the front. The R08T200-IPT1HB is Winmate’s 8.4 inch industrial monitor for that job: an SVGA panel, with front IP65 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets in a fanless metal housing. It connects to a separate industrial computer or controller and fits into cabinets, racks and fixtures.

The 8.4″ 800 x 600 panel runs at 1000 nits, so it stays readable in sunlight, with 600:1 contrast and 160 degree horizontal and 140 degree vertical viewing angles. The 4:3 format matches many existing HMI and SCADA screen layouts. Resistive touch is fitted as standard, and it works with gloved fingers or a stylus. SAW touch or a plain protection glass without touch can be specified instead.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs as options. Touch connects over a single USB port. Set-up is through a five-key OSD. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, as is a remote controller. The R08T200-IPT1WT is the wide temperature version, rated from -20 °C to 60 °C, and the R08L200-IPU1 is an 8.4 inch front IP65 model with a 600 nit panel and optional touch.

The 8.4 inch monitor is rated IP65 at the front and mounts into a panel cut-out or on VESA. It runs from 12 V DC, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, power cord and VGA and HDMI cables are supplied. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, and it carries CE and FCC marks.
