Kiosks and vending machines near entrances and windows fight daylight all day, and a standard 7 inch panel can be hard to read. The W07T700-OFO1HB is Winmate’s 7 inch open frame monitor for those spots: a 1024 x 600 widescreen display at 1000 nits in a metal enclosure, built to sit behind a kiosk fascia on panel or VESA mounting.
Winmate describes it as a high brightness display. Alongside the 1000 nit backlight the panel has a 700:1 contrast ratio, 16.2 million colours and viewing angles of 150° horizontally and 145° vertically. Touch is an option: specify resistive touch for gloved or stylus input, or protection glass alone for a display-only screen such as a queue or status board.
Video comes in over one VGA input, with HDMI and DVI inputs as options, so the monitor pairs with kiosk PCs and controllers. One USB port serves the touch screen, a five-key OSD panel handles settings, and an optional 3.5 mm audio line-in drives two optional speakers. For indoor lighting the W07T700-OFA4 is the 400 nit 800 x 480 model, and the R05T100-OFD1HB offers a 5.7 inch 4:3 screen at 900 nits.
Power is 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied. The W07T700-OFO1HB is fanless, operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity and stores from -10 to 60 °C. It takes panel mounting or 75 x 75 mm VESA mounting. Winmate names industrial visualisation, control rooms, equipment monitoring, ATMs, vending machines, casino monitors, airport information displays and mall kiosks as target applications.
