Oil and gas, utility and ITS cabinets often combine eight powered devices with two fibre ring links, some in hazardous locations. The LMP-1002G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LMP-1002G-SFP series: a gigabit managed industrial switch with eight PoE+ ports, two SFP slots and UL Class 1 Division 2, ATEX Zone 2 and NEMA TS2 approvals.
It has eight 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports, all IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+, and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots, on a 20 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. It is a Layer 2 managed switch with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, IGMP v1/v2 multicast filtering, LACP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and DHCP Option 66/67/82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and Modbus TCP supports SCADA monitoring. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH/SSL for secure access. Port mirroring supports online diagnostics, and a USB 2.0 port backs up the configuration.
Power arrives on 48 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-pin terminal block, so either supply can carry the load. Each PoE+ port delivers 25 W from a 48 V DC supply and the full 30 W from 51 V to 55 V DC. Overload current, reverse polarity, EFT and ESD protection are built in, along with a CPU watchdog, and exceptions can trigger an e-mail or relay alert.
The LMP-1002G-SFP-T is rated -40 °C to 75 °C, for unheated outdoor enclosures on ITS, utility and surveillance sites. It has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or optional wall mounting, designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1, UL Class 1 Division 2, NEMA TS2 and ATEX Zone 2 certifications with RoHS compliance, and the switch carries Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LMP-1002G-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, and the LMP-1002G-SFP-24-T adds a 12 V to 55 V DC input at the same extended range. We supply the LMP-1002G-SFP-T and can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings.
