Outdoor cabinets that power a large group of devices and also join a fibre ring often need more than two fibre ports, and they rarely have heating. The LMP-2004G-SFP-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LMP-2004G-SFP series, a 20-port Light Layer 3 managed industrial PoE+ switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C.
Sixteen 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports support IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ at up to 30 W per port from a 240 W total budget, and four 100/1000 SFP slots leave room for two ring links plus two more fibre branches or uplinks. IPv4/IPv6 and DHCP Options 66, 67 and 82 are supported. Store-and-forward switching runs on a 40 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6K jumbo frames. The Light Layer 3 firmware adds static routes and DHCP Option 82 to 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, IGMP v1/v2 snooping, LACP and Modbus TCP, and ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores the ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP as alternatives.
Power comes in on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs through removable terminal blocks, with overload current and reverse polarity protection. The switch draws 18.4 W itself, and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact and system warnings flag a lost supply or port fault. Security covers 802.1X, SNMPv3, HTTPS, SSH and port lock, and an RS232 console and USB configuration backup make a replacement unit quick to load.
The LMP-2004G-SFP-T runs fanless in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail or wall mounting. Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1 and NEMA TS2 approvals, with IEC 61850-3 Edition 2.0 for substation use, and covers it with its 5-year warranty. The LMP-2004G-SFP is the -10 °C to 70 °C model for heated cabinets, and the LMX-2004G-SFP-T offers the same ports without PoE. We supply and specify the switch, and can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings on request.
