Antaira LMX-1202G-SFP-T 12-Port Gigabit Managed DIN Rail Ethernet Switch with 2x SFP and -40 to 75 °C

Unheated cabinets on oil and gas sites, roadsides and water networks may need ten copper links, a fibre ring and hazardous location approvals all at once. The LMX-1202G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LMX-1202G-SFP series: a 12-port managed gigabit switch with two SFP slots, rated -40 °C to 75 °C.

It has 10 gigabit RJ45 ports, all 10/100/1000Base-TX with auto MDI/MDI-X, and two 100/1000 SFP slots, so fibre type and reach follow the module chosen. Switching is store-and-forward on a 24 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6 KB jumbo frames. The Layer 2+ firmware covers IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping for up to 1024 groups, LACP, LLDP, port mirroring, sFlow, RMON, Modbus TCP and 802.1X with HTTPS and SSH, and adds static routes with DHCP Option 82. Ring redundancy uses ITU-T G.8032 ERPS with recovery in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the switch draws 15 W. A power lost warning drives a relay contact rated 24 V DC, 1 A, overload current and reverse polarity protection are built in, and Antaira gives the switch high EFT and ESD protection with EMS testing to IEC 61000-4-2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8. It is managed through the web console, Telnet, SSH or CLI, with an RS232 console port on RJ45.

The LMX-1202G-SFP-T sits in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail or wall mounting. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2, ATEX Zone 2, UL 61010-1 and NEMA TS2 certified, with FCC and CE marks, and backs it with a 5-year warranty. The LMX-1202G-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 65 °C, and the LMX-1002G-SFP-T has eight copper ports at the same rating.
