Where a network crosses a site exposed to vibration, dust, liquid or gas, the copper ports need locking connectors and the long links back to the core need fibre at more than gigabit speed. The LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-T is the extended temperature build of the Antaira LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 series: an 18-port Light Layer 3 managed M12 Ethernet switch with X-coded M12 ports, two 10G fibre slots in an IP67 metal housing, rated -40 °C to 70 °C.
Sixteen 10/100/1000Base-T(X) ports use 8-pin X-coded M12 female connectors, which lock and seal where an RJ45 would work loose, and two 1G/10G SFP slots take single-mode or multi-mode transceivers for the uplink. Switching is store-and-forward on a 72 Gbps fabric with a 32K MAC table and eight priority queues. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS v2 restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP, and bypass protection on ports 8 and 16 supports daisy-chain redundancy. Light Layer 3 adds static routes and DHCP option 82.
Power arrives on dual 24 to 55 V DC inputs through an M12 5-pin K-coded connector, and the LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-T draws up to 30 W, with overload current and reverse polarity protection. A 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact can signal a fault to a PLC or alarm panel. Access is secured with RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, IP source guard and SNMP v3, and the RS232 console, a USB 2.0 configuration backup port and one digital input all sit on A-coded M12 connectors.
The LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C and stores from -40 °C to 85 °C, in an IP67 metal housing for wall mounting. Antaira lists IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, FCC and CE marks, RoHS compliance and EN 50121-3-2 and EN 50121-4 railway EMC compliance, backed by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 is the standard temperature build rated -10 °C to 65 °C, the LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-110-T widens the input to 24 to 110 V DC and the LMP-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-24-T adds 802.3at PoE+ to the M12 ports. We can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings before delivery.
