Antaira LNP-0501-ST-M-T 5-Port 10/100 Unmanaged Industrial Network Switch with 4x PoE+, 1x 100FX ST Multi-mode Fibre and -40 to 75 °C

Cameras and sensors at the far end of a site can sit well beyond the 100 m reach of copper Ethernet, often near drives and power cables that disturb copper links. The LNP-0501-ST-M-T is the extended temperature multi-mode ST model in the Antaira LNP-0501 series: a five-port industrial unmanaged PoE switch that powers four devices locally and carries their traffic back over one fibre, rated for unheated outdoor cabinets.

Four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port with auto MDI/MDI-X, and one 100Base-FX multi-mode ST port, reaching up to 2 km at 1310 nm, carries the uplink. Multi-mode suits runs across a plant or campus; the LNP-0501-ST-S3-T is the single-mode 30 km alternative, and the LNP-0501-M-T uses SC connectors. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1.0 Gbps backplane with a 2K MAC address table, with no set-up needed.

Power arrives on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a 6-pin terminal block, so a second supply can take over if the first fails. Antaira rates PoE output at 30 W per port from 51 to 55 V DC and 25 W per port at 48 V DC. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, with surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC, and one relay output gives a power failure warning.

The LNP-0501-ST-M-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal case, mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 508 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0501-ST-M is the standard temperature model, and the LNP-0501-ST-M-24-T takes a 12 to 36 V DC supply instead.
