Antaira LNX-0702C-SFP-T 7-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch with 2x SFP and -40 to 75 °C

Plenty of field devices still talk at 10 or 100 Mbps, but the uplink from their cabinet often needs fibre and more headroom than they do. The LNX-0702C-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-0702C-SFP series: an industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch that pairs Fast Ethernet copper ports with two gigabit-capable fibre slots.

It has five 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, and two dual-rate SFP slots that take 100 or 1000 Mbps transceivers, so the fibre mode, connector and reach follow the modules fitted. Two fibre slots allow a chained or redundant-path layout between cabinets. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 5 Gbps switching fabric, with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit buffer, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so the switch passes traffic with no set-up.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the LNX-0702C-SFP-T draws 8 W. Reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow fuse guard the input, and one relay output rated 24 V DC, 1 A signals a power failure. LEDs show Power 1, Power 2 and Fault, plus speed, link and activity on the copper ports and link and activity on the SFP slots.

The LNX-0702C-SFP-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, with the mounting hardware included. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL Class 1, Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-0702C-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the LNX-0702G-SFP-T moves all five copper ports to gigabit, and the LNP-0702C-SFP-T adds PoE+.
