Arestech DM-124PW/VM-2100 24″ Full HD PCAP Modular Touch Monitor with 300 Nit LCD and Front IP65

The DM-124PW/VM-2100 is the 24 inch size in the Arestech DM-1XXP/VM-2100 series of modular touch monitors, pairing a 16:9 FHD projected capacitive display at 300 nits with the VM-2100 video module. It suits control rooms and line overview screens where one touch monitor family has to cover several sizes.

  • 9 to 48 V DC with Ignition Sensing: Terminal-block DC input with ignition sensing and a PC/Car mode switch, protected against over-voltage, reverse voltage and over-current.

DM-124PW/VM-2100 Overview

Arestech’s modular displays separate the screen from the electronics behind it, so one display module can serve as a monitor or as a panel PC. The DM-124PW/VM-2100 is the 24 inch size in the Arestech DM-1XXP/VM-2100 series: a DM display module with projected capacitive touch, and the VM-2100 video module on the rear that turns it into a touch monitor for an industrial PC in a cabinet or elsewhere on the machine.

The panel is a 16:9 FHD LCD at 1920 x 1080 with 300 nits, a 5000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, a size that suits control rooms and line overview screens. The PCAP touch screen has a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency and connects to the host over USB or COM, and a multi-language OSD with On/Off, Auto, Menu, Up and Down keys handles set-up, with a remote OSD connector for a keypad elsewhere on the machine.

The VM-2100 takes VGA, DVI-D and DisplayPort, with an audio input for two 2 W internal speakers, a two-pin terminal block for remote power on/off and switches for the speakers and PC/Car mode. The same DM-124PW display module is also sold with Arestech’s PM-2000 PC module as the DM-124PW/PM-2000 panel PC, and the neighbouring sizes in the series are the DM-121PW/VM-2100.

Power is 9 to 48 V DC on a three-pin terminal block with ignition sensing, protected to 52 V over-voltage, -48 V reverse voltage and 20 A over-current, with an optional 12 V, 60 W adapter for mains sites. The DM-124PW/VM-2100 operates from -10 °C to 60 °C with 20 Grms shock and 1.5 Grms vibration ratings, measures 584 x 73 x 353 mm and weighs 8.85 kg (19.6 lb) kg, and mounts in a panel with the supplied kit, on 100 x 100 mm VESA or on an optional wall mount.
