Arestech PPC-Z1512R 15″ Resistive Stainless Steel Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1235U, Dual 2.5GbE and IP66/IP69K

Many pharmaceutical equipment HMIs were drawn for a 4:3 screen, and moving them to a widescreen display can mean reworking every page. The PPC-Z1512R is the 5-wire resistive build in the Arestech PPC-Z1512 series: a 15 inch stainless steel panel PC sealed to IP66 and IP69K as a whole system, with a flat front and touch that responds to pressure, so it usually works through gloves.

The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz, with the Core i3-1215UE as an option, on dual-channel DDR4 3200 across two SO-DIMM sockets for up to 64 GB. That suits HMI and SCADA clients with several windows open, on Windows 11 IoT or Professional or Linux. Storage is an internal SSD bay with SATA RAID 0/1 plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA, with firmware TPM and an optional TPM 2.0 module. The 15″ XGA display runs at 1024 x 768 (4:3) with 350 nits, 2500:1 contrast and 176° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

Every external connection is on a sealed M12 connector: two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V controllers, two RS-232/422/485 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and two USB 2.0 ports. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot and an M.2 2230 E-Key socket take optional wireless modules. The PPC-Z1512P is the same build with projected capacitive touch, and the PPC-Z1564R pairs the same screen and sealing with the Celeron J6412 for lighter workloads.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on M12 with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-Z1512R runs from -10 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and 15 G IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. SUS316L is an option to the standard SUS304 where the cleaning regime calls for it, and VESA, yoke and wall mounting use optional kits. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
