ASRock Industrial iEP-7050E-020 Intel Core Ultra X7 358H Fanless DIN-Rail PC with 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi Option

Many control cabinets need more processing at the edge without more boxes on the rail. The ASRock Industrial iEP-7050E-020 is the base build of the iEP-7050E series, a fanless DIN-rail PC with six LAN ports, a serial port and 4DI/4DO, plus an M.2 socket for optional Wi-Fi. It keeps the I/O simple for projects that do not need PoE, cellular, isolated DIO or CAN bus.

The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H is a 16-core Panther Lake-H processor rated at 25 W, with integrated Intel graphics and an NPU for dedicated AI acceleration, so the iEP-7050E-020 can run edge AI inference next to control and data-collection software. Two DDR5 7200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 128 GB with Intel In-Band ECC, and an M.2 2280 Key M socket on PCIe Gen5 takes NVMe storage Intel TCC and TSN support suit time-sensitive workloads, and Windows 11 and Ubuntu 26.04 LTS are supported.

Networking is three Intel I226-IT 2.5GbE ports and three Intel I210-IT Gigabit ports, so machine, plant and uplink networks can each have a port. The front also carries one HDMI 2.1b output and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. On the top are one RS-232/422/485 port and 4DI/4DO on a D-sub connector. An M.2 Key E socket takes an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and manageability covers a watchdog timer, Intel In-Band Manageability, TPM 2.0 and chassis intrusion detection.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on two three-pin terminal blocks for redundant feeds, with over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current protection plus 80 V surge protection, and an optional 120 W adapter. The iEP-7050E-020 runs fanless from -25 °C to 60 °C with airflow, is tested to 5 Grms vibration and 100 G shock with SSD, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. Mounting is wall, VESA or DIN rail. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, NVMe storage and the OS image fitted. The iEP-7050E-021 adds two PoE ports, and the iEP-7040E-020 is the matching Arrow Lake-H build.
