ASRock Industrial IMB-X1317 Intel Core Ultra 200S W880 Micro-ATX Motherboard with ECC, Quad LAN and Dual Thunderbolt 4

Vision and inspection builds often keep cameras, machines and the plant network on separate links, and they still need ECC memory and fast storage in a smaller enclosure. The ASRock Industrial IMB-X1317 is a W880 Micro-ATX motherboard for Intel Core Ultra 200S processors, with four LAN ports and eight SATA ports on one board.

The LGA1851 socket takes Core Ultra 200S (Arrow Lake-S) processors up to 125 W, with power limits up to 252 W supported. Four DDR5 Long-DIMM slots hold up to 256 GB of ECC or non-ECC memory, at 6400 MHz with CU-DIMMs or 5600 MHz with U-DIMMs. Intel Xe graphics drive up to four displays, and the W880 chipset brings Intel vPro with AMT for remote management. Windows 11 and Linux are supported.

Networking is two Intel I210AT and one Intel I219LM Gigabit ports with an Intel I226V 2.5GbE port. Expansion is two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, as one x16 or two x8, and two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots. Storage runs from two M.2 M key sockets (PCIe 5.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4) and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports, with Intel VMD RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, and an M.2 E key socket takes an optional wireless module. Displays come from HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, a shared LVDS or eDP connector and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one at the rear and one vertical Type-C inside. There are ten USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports in all, seven at the rear, and six COM ports with eight GPIO inputs and eight outputs.

The IMB-X1317 is rated from -20 °C to 70 °C, runs from an ATX supply in AT or ATX mode, and carries a TPM 2.0 and a watchdog timer. We supply it with the processor, memory and storage fitted and tested, on its own or built into a complete system. The IMB-X1317-10G adds a 10GbE port, the IMB-1317 moves to the Q870 chipset with two LAN ports, and the IMB-X1715 offers the W880 on ATX with more slots.
