NUC-N6210 Overview
Simple gateways, data loggers and single-purpose terminals rarely need four cores, but they do need low power, two network ports and a display output or two. The NUC-N6210 is ASRock Industrial’s 4×4 motherboard with the dual-core Intel Elkhart Lake N6210. Also called a NUC motherboard, it measures 104 x 102 mm and shares the NUC 6000 datasheet with three sister boards.
The N6210 is an Elkhart Lake SoC running at up to 2.6 GHz within 6.5 W, which keeps heat and power draw low for always-on equipment. Two 260-pin DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM sockets run in dual channel for up to 32 GB. Intel Gen 11 Graphics drives two independent displays through HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.2 (DP++), each at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, which suits a local screen plus a second monitor or signage output.
I/O covers two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Realtek RTL8111G-CG or RTL8111H-CG controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (two Type-A, two Type-C) and four USB 2.0, two of them on an internal header. One RS-232/422/485 port on an internal header links serial equipment. An M.2 Key M socket (2242/2260/2280) with PCIe x1 and SATA3 takes an SSD, a SATA3 port adds a second drive, and an M.2 Key E 2230 socket with PCIe x1 and USB 2.0 is free for expansion. The NUC-N6415 is the quad-core N6415 build at the same 6.5 W, and the NUC-J6412 is the quad-core J6412 build at 10 W.
Power is 12 to 19 V DC on a DC jack, with AT and ATX power-on modes. The NUC-N6210 operates from 0 to 60 °C and can be stored from -40 to 85 °C at 5 to 90% humidity. TPM 2.0 is onboard, and a watchdog timer with 256 steps from 0 to 255 seconds resets the system if software hangs. Realtek ALC233 audio feeds a front headphone and microphone jack, with an internal line-in/out header shared with it. The board stands 36 mm tall.

Official ASRock Industrial UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official ASRock Industrial UK distributor, supplying the NUC-N6210 configured for UK embedded and industrial projects. Within the ASRock Industrial range the NUC-N6415 is the quad-core N6415 build at the same 6.5 W, and the NUC 1300/D4 series moves to 13th Gen Intel Core processors with USB4 and four displays on the same board size.
The NUC-N6210 sits among our NUC motherboards and our Intel Elkhart Lake products, next to its three NUC 6000 sister boards, which share the same I/O and differ only in the processor fitted. Where a 4x4 design needs the lowest power in this board family with two displays, this is the model to specify.
