Avalue EPX-ASLP-7433-A1R Intel Amston Lake Atom x7433RE 2.5″ Pico-ITX SBC with Dual 2.5GbE and Extended Temperature

Outdoor kiosks, ticket machines and roadside cabinets put a board through frost in winter and heat soak in summer, often with no heating or air conditioning inside the enclosure. The EPX-ASLP-7433-A1R is the build in the Avalue EPX-ASLP series for those sites: a 2.5″ Pico-ITX SBC rated from -40 to 80 °C, with dual 2.5GbE, three displays and DDR5 memory on a 100 x 72 mm board.

The Intel Atom x7433RE is a quad-core Amston Lake processor with a 9 W TDP, soldered to the underside of the board. Four cores cover an HMI, a protocol gateway or signage playback, and Intel UHD Graphics drive DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.0b at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz plus a single-channel LVDS panel at up to 1366 x 768. One DDR5 4800 MHz SO-DIMM slot takes up to 16 GB, with firmware TPM and Windows 11 or Linux support.

Both 2.5GbE ports use Intel I226IT controllers, the wide-temperature version, and Avalue lists TSN capability for the Amston Lake build. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports sit beside them, and internal headers add four USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port and 4-bit GPIO. An M.2 B-key socket with SIM takes a 4G modem or SSD, an M.2 E-key socket takes Wi-Fi, and a SATA III port adds a drive.

The EPX-ASLP-7433-A1R runs from 12 V DC on a lockable jack and holds -40 to 80 °C with a CPU cooler and 0.5 m/s airflow. The hardware watchdog and AT power mode help a remote unit restart on its own after a power cut, and the board carries CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance. For indoor equipment, the EPX-ASLP-N97-A1R offers an Intel N97 at 12 W, rated from 0 to 60 °C.
