AVerMedia CN312SW M.2 Dual SDI Video Capture Card with 2K60 Inputs and -20 to 70 °C

SDI is often chosen for longer cable runs and locking connectors, and some projects need two SDI sources captured in a compact embedded PC. The AVerMedia CN312SW handles two 2K SDI inputs on one M.2 2280 card, in a wide-temperature build rated -20 °C to 70 °C. If one of your sources is HDMI, the CN312MW pairs one SDI with one HDMI input at the same temperature rating, and the CN311-H captures a single HDMI source at up to 4K30.

Each SDI input accepts up to 2048 x 1080 at 60 fps, and the CN312SW records both channels at 1920 x 1080 and 60 fps. Driver output is 8-bit in NV12, I420, YV12, YUY2, IYU2, BGR24 or BGR32, with 10-bit input signals accepted, and audio is embedded in the SDI signal at 48 kHz.

The card fits an M.2 2280 Key M slot, AVerMedia lists a PCIe Gen2 x4 host interface, and it draws 3.3 W. Multi-card operation is supported where a system needs more than two SDI channels. AVerMedia provides Windows drivers and Linux V4L2 support for x64 hosts, with Linux driver availability confirmed through AVerMedia support and driver customisation offered by request.

The CN312SW is rated from -20 °C to 70 °C in operation and -40 °C to 85 °C in storage, at 5% to 95% RH, with FCC and CE marks, and a tall finned heatsink handles cooling, so the host needs clearance above the M.2 slot. We supply the CN312SW fitted and tested in the host computer it will run in, with heatsink clearance confirmed, SDI cables routed, drivers installed and both channels checked before it ships.
