D115WONB-1 Overview
Many remote analytics jobs are small: one camera watching a gate, a car park barrier or a stock yard, with no wired network and nobody on site. The AVerMedia D115WONB-1 is a fanless industrial PC sized for that, pairing a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB with connectors for an optional 4G/5G daughter board and an optional Allxon out-of-band module. It is the Orin Nano box in the D115W-1 series, built on the D115W-1 carrier board; the D115WOXB-1 takes an Orin NX for heavier workloads.
The D115WONB-1 is supplied with a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module, rated by NVIDIA at up to 40 TOPS, which typically suits one or two camera streams with detection or counting models. Two internal MIPI CSI-2 connectors with four lanes each, on 22-pin FPCs, take embedded cameras directly. AVerMedia publishes JetPack 6.2 board support packages on Ubuntu 22.04, and with the optional OOB module fitted Allxon provides 24/7 remote management and out-of-band disaster recovery.
Two GbE RJ45 ports handle cameras and uplink; Ethernet 1 can take an optional PoE board and Ethernet 2 carries out-of-band traffic over NC-SI. The optional daughter board connects through 5-pin and 30-pin connectors for 4G or 5G. One HDMI output runs at 4K and 30 Hz, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports cover peripherals, a 256GB NVMe SSD is installed and an M.2 E-key 2230 socket takes optional Wi-Fi. The 20-pin header carries CAN, two I2C buses, four GPIO lines and two UARTs, which are unavailable while the OOB module is fitted.
The D115WONB-1 runs fanless from -25 °C to 60 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 85 °C, on 9-24 V DC through a DC jack or 4-pin ATX header. AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and KC marks. We supply it with the Orin Nano module fitted, JetPack flashed and the SSD installed, with any optional 4G or 5G modem, OOB module, PoE board and antennas fitted, then test it before it ships.
