AVerMedia D315-1 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Carrier Board with 5G Expansion, 10GbE and -40 to 85 °C

Robots and vehicles that start cold or sit in unheated enclosures need a carrier rated beyond the usual commercial range. The AVerMedia D315-1 is the carrier board in the D315-1 series, rated from -40 °C to 85 °C and built for Jetson AGX Orin and AGX Orin Industrial modules. For a finished system, the D315AOB-1 houses this I/O in a fan-cooled box and the D315AOP-1 runs fanless.

The D315-1 takes a Jetson AGX Orin 32GB, AGX Orin 64GB or AGX Orin Industrial 64GB module, with JetPack 5 and JetPack 6.2 builds on Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04. The module is not part of AVerMedia’s board package, so we fit it and flash JetPack before it ships. Cameras connect through the 120-pin MIPI SerDes connector for GMSL2, FPD-Link III or V-by-One HS with an optional adapter board, and AVerMedia lists support for the Stereolabs ZED Link Quad capture card.

The main change from the D315 is cellular: an M.2 B-key 3042/3052 socket with Micro SIM takes an optional 4G LTE or 5G module directly, with no adapter card. Alongside it sit an M.2 E-key 2230 socket for optional Wi-Fi 6E, an M.2 M-key 2280 socket for an NVMe SSD or capture card and a PCIe x16 slot at x8 signal. Networking is one 10GbE and one GbE RJ45 port, with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, HDMI, a micro-SD slot, a CAN bus terminal block with transceiver and the 40-pin header.

Power is 12-54 V DC on a locking DC jack or ATX 4-pin header, with auto power-on or button start. The board runs from -40 °C to 85 °C with an optional heat sink and fan, out-of-band support is optional, and AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and KC marks. We supply the D315-1 with the Jetson module fitted, JetPack flashed, storage installed and any optional 4G/5G or Wi-Fi module and antennas fitted, then tested before it ships.
