Robot cells, inspection lines and autonomous machines increasingly move camera and sensor data faster than a Gigabit link can carry it. The DSBOX-AGXMAX-32GB tackles that with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB and a 10G Ethernet port in a compact edge AI box PC from the Forecr DSBOX-AGXMAX series.
The Jetson AGX Orin 32GB carries 32GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory, enough to run detection, tracking and robotics perception models across several camera streams together. The DSBOX-AGXMAX-32GB runs Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 with JetPack 5.x or 6.x, and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 holds the operating system alongside two M.2 Key-M SSD slots for data.
Networking pairs the 10G port on an SFP+ cage with two Gigabit Ethernet ports. An internal camera connector takes Forecr’s optional 8-channel GMSL2 adapter board, and machine connections run through one CAN bus port, one software-configurable RS-232/422/485 port, two digital inputs and three digital outputs. Two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, two USB-C ports for debug and recovery and an HDMI 2.0 output cover local access. An M.2 Key-B socket with a SIM slot adds LTE or 5G, an M.2 Key-E socket takes WiFi and Bluetooth, and power arrives on a 12-30V DC input.
The fanless 225 x 135 x 83 mm enclosure weighs 3 kg and operates from -25°C to +55°C, and Forecr credits the fanless design with protection against dust, shock and vibration. That makes the DSBOX-AGXMAX-32GB an edge AI box PC for machine vision, robotics, transportation, energy and smart retail installs in industrial cabinets, machine bays and other spaces where a fan would draw in dust.
