MILBOX-AGXMAX-32S Overview
Integrating AI into an existing vehicle or vessel usually means talking to CAN buses, serial devices and discrete signals as well as cameras, all from a sealed box on onboard power. The MILBOX-AGXMAX-32S is a military-grade computer built by Forecr for that integration work, combining the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB module with the isolated I/O and 10G Ethernet of the MILBOX-AGXMAX series.
The Jetson AGX Orin 32GB pairs its GPU with 32GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory, giving the MILBOX-AGXMAX-32S capacity for object detection, video analytics and sensor fusion processed locally rather than in the cloud. Ubuntu Linux 20.04 or 22.04 with JetPack 5.x or 6.x provides the NVIDIA software stack for deployment and updates.
On the isolated side, 2x CAN bus, 4x RS-232/422 serial ports and 8x digital I/O at 3.3V level connect vehicle systems, controllers and actuators. Networking combines 1x 10G Ethernet with 3x Gigabit Ethernet, and 2x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 handle peripherals. Display output is 1x HDMI with an optional 3G-SDI output, and four configurable BNC connectors plus a camera expansion connector take 4x SDI, 4x GMSL2 or 4x analog video inputs as build options. Two M.2 Key-M 2280 slots and an SD card slot provide storage, and a 12-36 VDC input powers the system.
The IP67 enclosure is designed to meet MIL-STD-1275/704, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461, and the military-grade computer operates from -25°C to +70°C, with no wireless interface. Forecr lists defence, aerospace, marine and transportation among its target sectors. For larger models, the MILBOX-AGXMAX-64S doubles the memory with the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB in the same build as the MILBOX-AGXMAX-32S.

Official Forecr UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Forecr UK distributor, covering Forecr's Jetson range from carrier boards to sealed rugged computers. The MILBOX-AGX-SDI focuses on SDI video capture with the same AGX Orin module family, and the MILBOX-ORNX brings Orin NX and Orin Nano into a compact rugged enclosure for smaller vehicles and unmanned payloads where size and weight matter most. Where Jetson AGX Thor compute is needed, the MILBOX-THR adds four 10G Ethernet ports and isolated CAN FD in a larger sealed enclosure.
Across our catalogue the MILBOX-AGXMAX-32S appears among our Jetson CAN bus computers, thanks to its two isolated CAN bus ports, and among our edge AI computers for on-board inference close to the sensors that feed it. It also sits with our rugged NVIDIA Jetson computers built for vibration, shock and water exposure, where its 32GB module offers AGX Orin compute with the full 10G Ethernet, BNC video and isolated I/O set of the larger models.
