Neousys NRU-172S-PPC-JONN-4GB 10.1″ IP66 Edge AI Panel PC with NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 4GB and 4x PoE+

Adding AI to a few IP cameras on a farm or construction site is simpler when the display powers them and runs the models. The NRU-172S-PPC-JONN-4GB is the four-port PoE+ build with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 4GB in the Neousys NRU-170-PPC series: a 10.1 inch Edge AI Panel PC sealed to IP66 against water and dust, with M12 connectors throughout.

The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 4GB module carries 4 GB of LPDDR5 at 2133 MHz and ships with NVIDIA JetPack. The Orin Nano 4GB is the entry module in the series, a good fit for lighter models, fewer streams and cost-sensitive fleets. Storage is an M.2 2242 NVMe SSD. The 10.1 inch display runs at 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) with 1000 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast, optically bonded with anti-glare and anti-fingerprint glass, and single-finger touch keeps working when the screen is wet.

Five GbE ports on M12 X-coded connectors include four IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports on an Intel I350-AM4 controller with a 50 W total PoE budget, powering up to four IP or GigE cameras. Two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, one CAN FD port and an isolated GPS PPS input sit on M12 A-coded connectors. A mini-PCIe socket takes CAN, COM or Wi-Fi modules and an M.2 B-key socket with dual micro-SIM takes 4G LTE or 5G NR. The NRU-171V-PPC-JONN-4GB swaps the PoE+ ports for six GMSL2 camera inputs, and the NRU-172S-PPC-JONN-8GB uses the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC on an M12 A-coded connector with built-in ignition power control, which suits vehicles where the computer follows the key. The NRU-172S-PPC-JONN-4GB is fanless and operates from -25 to 60 °C with passive cooling, with a wide-temperature SSD needed below 0 °C or above 60 °C, and it is tested to MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration. It carries CE and FCC Class A marks and is compliant with EN 50121-3 for railway EMC. It measures 257 x 176 x 65 mm, weighs 3.8 kg and mounts on VESA 75.
