Neousys Nuvo-2611VTC Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E Rugged Fanless PC with 4x M12 PoE+ and SuperCAP UPS

Cranking a starter motor or switching a vehicle supply can drop the voltage for a moment, and an unprotected recorder may lose the file it was writing or corrupt its drive. The Neousys Nuvo-2611VTC adds a built-in SuperCAP UPS with 2500 watt-seconds of stored energy, so the system rides through short drops and shuts down cleanly on a longer one. It is the SuperCAP UPS version of the Nuvo-2610VTC series.

Inside is the Intel Atom x6425E, a four-core Elkhart Lake processor at 2.0 GHz with a 3.0 GHz burst and a 12 W TDP, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200 in one SO-DIMM socket. Intel UHD Graphics drive VGA and DVI outputs together through one DVI-I connector. Four Gigabit PoE+ ports on locking M12 X-coded connectors run from Intel I210 controllers at up to 25.5 W each from a 100 W budget, and a front-accessible tray takes a 2.5-inch recording drive, including thicker high-capacity drives, beside an M.2 2280 SATA SSD.

The rest of the Nuvo-2611VTC carries one USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports with screw locks, an isolated RS-485 port with 15 kV ESD protection, a DB9 for three RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485 port, four isolated inputs, four isolated outputs and a mic-in and speaker-out jack. Two mini PCIe sockets take Wi-Fi or a CAN module, and an M.2 B key socket with two internal micro SIM slots takes a 4G or 5G module for live video or telematics.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC with built-in ignition control, plus a terminal block for a remote power switch and LED. The unit runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C, meets MIL-STD-810G and IEC 61373 Category 1 Class B (body mounted) for vibration and shock, and EN 50121 and CE and FCC Class A for EMC. A damping bracket is standard. The Nuvo-2610VTC is the E-Mark certified base model, and the Nuvo-2612VTC adds a PCIe cassette.
