Premio BCO-1000-EHL-10-B Intel Celeron J6413 Quad Core DIN Rail Embedded PC with 4x COM Ports

Serial devices outlive most computers: energy meters, drives and PLCs installed years ago still need polling and translating onto the network. The BCO-1000-EHL-10-B is the Intel Celeron J6413 quad core DIN rail embedded PC with 4x COM ports in the Premio BCO-1000-EHL-10 series, sized for that gateway role.

Under the BCO-1000-EHL-10-B sits the quad-core Intel Celeron J6413, an Elkhart Lake processor running at 1.8 GHz with up to 10 W TDP, paired with one DDR4 SODIMM socket for up to 32 GB at up to 3200 MT/s. Intel UHD Graphics drives the DisplayPort 1.4 outputs at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, and TPM 2.0 is fitted for secure boot and disk encryption. Four cores on the BCO-1000-EHL-10-B are plenty for Modbus, BACnet or MQTT gateway software polling several serial devices at once.

The Universal I/O slot on the BCO-1000-EHL-10-B carries a two-port COM module, giving four RS-232/422/485 ports in total. The base I/O adds two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB 2.0 port, plus one 2.5GbE port on the Intel I225, one GbE port on the Intel I210, two internal CAN 2.0 A/B headers, a 2.5 inch SATA bay, mSATA and an M.2 B-key slot with an external SIM socket for 4G/LTE.

Power comes in at 9 to 36 V DC on a 3-pin terminal block with protection against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. Premio rates the BCO-1000-EHL-10-B from -20 °C to 50 °C and lists UL, CE and FCC Class A, and the 142 x 101.2 x 41.5 mm enclosure wall mounts as standard, with an optional DIN rail kit. For six COM ports, the BCO-1000-EHL-20 series has two expansion slots, and the BCO-1000-EHL-10 keeps the slot free.
