Premio BCO-500-MTL-155U Intel Core Ultra 7 155U (Meteor Lake) Fanless Embedded PC with NPU and Triple 2.5GbE

When a fanless box has to run vision, analytics and a local interface together, the processor sets the limit. The Premio BCO-500-MTL-155U is the Core Ultra 7 155U model of the BCO-500 series, a semi-rugged fanless embedded PC with an integrated NPU, three 2.5GbE ports and USB-C.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 155U is a 12-core, 15 W Meteor Lake processor running at up to 4.8 GHz, with an Intel AI Boost NPU rated at up to 11 TOPS for light edge AI inference. One DDR5 5600 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 48 GB. A 128 GB SSD ships in an M.2 M-Key socket (PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA), and an M.2 B-Key socket takes an optional 4G or 5G module or a second NVMe SSD, with one SIM socket. dTPM 2.0, fTPM and a watchdog are built in, and Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04 are supported.

Three Intel i226 2.5GbE ports support PXE boot. There is one USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB 2.0, two RS-232 ports on DB9 (COM1 also RS-422/485), line-out and mic-in, and two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs at 4K for dual independent displays. An M.2 E-Key socket takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with six antenna holes on the enclosure.

Power is 12 to 24 V DC through a locking DC jack with over-voltage, over-current, reverse and surge protection, and the BCO-500-MTL-155U is available with a power adapter. It runs fanless from -20 °C to 60 °C, is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, and is UL listed to UL 62368-1 with CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and CB marks. Wall and VESA mounting are supported, with DIN rail optional. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, storage, the OS image and any wireless modules fitted. The BCO-500-MTL-125U uses the same build with a Core Ultra 5 125U running at up to 4.3 GHz, and the BCO-500-RK3568J trades the Intel processor for a low-power Rockchip RK3568J running Android or Linux.
