Sintrones ABOX-5220P Intel Raptor Lake Refresh Rugged PC with 8x GbE PoE+

An eight-camera surveillance install normally needs a PoE switch beside the recorder, with its own supply, mounting and failure point. The Sintrones ABOX-5220P is the PoE+ rugged PC in the ABOX-5220 series that removes that switch, powering eight GbE cameras directly and sending their streams on over two 2.5GbE ports.

Compute is an Intel Core i9-14900T, i7-14700T or i5-14500T with up to 24 cores and 32 threads, on the R680E chipset with up to 96 GB of ECC-capable DDR5-5600 and TPM 2.0. Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives two DP++ outputs at up to 7680 x 4320 and two HDMI 2.0b outputs, so the ABOX-5220P can run several displays and lighter inference without a discrete card. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS are supported.

The eight Intel I210 GbE ports deliver PoE+ at 25.5 W per port within a 120 W total budget on RJ45, beside two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports for uplinks, giving 10 LAN ports in all. Alongside sit eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four RS-232/422/485 ports, eight digital inputs, four outputs and two 0 to 60 V ADC inputs. Two M.2 Key B slots take 4G or 5G with dual SIM for network redundancy, alongside Wi-Fi and a CAN bus or GNSS module, with three M.2 SSD slots and two removable 2.5-inch SATA trays offering RAID 0, 1 and 5.

Power is 9 to 60 V DC on a five-pin terminal block with ignition detection and over-current, over-voltage, surge and reverse-polarity protection. GPU and PoE builds need a nominal 24 V supply or higher. The ABOX-5220P runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow, is tested to MIL-STD-810H and EN 61373 and carries EN 50155, EN 45545-2 (R25) and E-Mark compliance. Elsewhere in the Sintrones series, the ABOX-5220PG adds an MXM GPU to the PoE build and the ABOX-5220P-M12X puts the PoE ports on M12.
