Sintrones ABOX-5221G-IP66 Intel Core 9/7/5 Series 2 IP66 Waterproof Computer with RTX Ada/Arc MXM GPU

GPU inference outdoors normally means a sealed, cooled cabinet around a computer that was never meant to see the weather. The Sintrones ABOX-5221G-IP66 is the GPU waterproof computer in the ABOX-5221-IP66 series, putting an MXM GPU inside an IP66 enclosure with M12 networking.

Compute is an Intel Core 9 273PTE, Core 7 251TE or Core 5 221TE (Intel Core Series 2) on the R680E chipset, with up to 96 GB of ECC-capable DDR5-5600 and TPM 2.0. The MXM GPU takes an NVIDIA RTX Embedded 5000 Ada (16 GB, 682 AI TOPS at FP8), 3500 Ada (369 TOPS) or 2000 Ada (232 TOPS), or an Intel Arc A370E (56 TOPS at INT8), so the models run inside the sealed enclosure rather than in a separate cabinet. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 26.04 LTS are supported.

Networking is two Marvell AQC113 10GbE ports and four Intel I226IT 2.5GbE ports, all on sealed M12 X-coded connectors that keep their seal and their grip under vibration. Two RS-232/422/485 ports and eight digital inputs and eight outputs use M12 A-coded connectors, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports cover service access. An M.2 Key B slot takes 4G or 5G with dual nano SIM, an M.2 Key E slot takes Wi-Fi, GNSS or a CAN bus module and two full-size Mini PCIe sockets add further options, with three M.2 2280 SSD slots and two 2.5-inch SATA bays for storage.

Power is 18 to 60 V DC (nominal 24 V or 48 V) on an M12 K-coded connector, with ignition detection and over-current, over-voltage, surge and reverse-polarity protection. With the GPU fitted, the ABOX-5221G-IP66 operates from 0 °C to 60 °C or 70 °C depending on the module in an IP66 aluminium enclosure, is tested to MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration and carries EN 50155, EN 45545-2 (R25) and E-Mark compliance. Elsewhere in the Sintrones series, the ABOX-5221PG-IP66 adds PoE+ to this build and the ABOX-5221-IP66 runs without a GPU.
