FCCECX-3000-PoES Overview
High-bitrate camera recording fills drives quickly, and pulling data from the field is easier when the drive comes out of the front panel. The ECX-3000-PoES pairs four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports with four front-access M.2 SSD trays. It is the PoE+ and M.2 storage fanless industrial PC in the Vecow ECX-3000 series.
The ECX-3000-PoES runs 12th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 Alder Lake-S processors on the Intel R680E chipset, up to the 16-core Core i9-12900E at 65 W TDP, with two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB, ECC or non-ECC. Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives four independent displays over two DisplayPort, DVI-I and HDMI, and vPro, TSN and TPM 2.0 support remote management, deterministic networking and secure boot.
Networking on the ECX-3000-PoES is six ports: four 2.5GbE IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports at 25.5 W each for cameras, one 2.5GbE port with TSN and one GbE port with iAMT. Four front-access M.2 Key M SSD trays hold the recording drives, beside an internal M.2 Key M PCIe x4 socket. Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four COM ports, 16 isolated DIO, a Mini PCIe socket, M.2 Key B and Key E sockets and two external SIM sockets cover field I/O and 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi modules.
The industrial PC runs on 9 V to 50 V DC through a terminal block or 4-pin Mini-DIN, with 16-mode software ignition control for vehicle installs. Fanless operation is rated from -40 °C to 75 °C with 35 W processors and -40 °C to 55 °C with 65 W parts, with IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. The 260 x 175 x 79 mm, 3.8 kg Vecow chassis wall-mounts, with DIN-rail and 2U rack kits optional. For 2.5″ drives instead of M.2, see the ECX-3000-PoER.
