Vecow ECX-4000 Intel Core Ultra Fanless AI Computer with 6x LAN and Dual SSD Trays

Line-side inspection often needs separate networks for cameras, controllers and the plant, plus somewhere to keep footage that can be taken away. The ECX-4000-6R is the six-port fanless AI computer in the Vecow ECX-4000 series that adds two front-access SSD trays for that purpose.

Inside the ECX-4000-6R, Vecow uses Intel Core Ultra 200S processors (Arrow Lake-S) on the W880 chipset, from the 14-core Core Ultra 5 245 to the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285 in 65 W or 35 W versions. The integrated NPU and Xe LPG graphics deliver up to 36 TOPS, which suits OpenVINO inference for detection, classification and anomaly checks without a separate accelerator. Two DDR5 6400 MHz CSODIMM slots take up to 96 GB, with ECC as an option, and Intel vPro, TSN, TCC and TPM 2.0 support remote management, deterministic networking and hardware-based security.

Networking on the ECX-4000-6R is five 2.5GbE ports and one GbE port. Two front-access SSD trays with software RAID 0 or 1 sit beside an M.2 Key M PCIe x4 slot. Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four RS-232/422/485 COM ports, 16 isolated DIO, two DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0 and DVI-I outputs, two M.2 Key B sockets and an M.2 Key E socket with two SIM slots for 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi complete the I/O.

The fanless chassis is rated -40 °C to 75 °C with a 35 W CPU, or -40 °C to 55 °C with a 65 W CPU, on redundant 9-50 V DC inputs with 16-mode software ignition control, and carries EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. The ECX-4000-PoER keeps the trays and adds PoE+ to four ports.
