Vecow SPC-9100-165U Intel Core Ultra 7 Mini Industrial PC with Fanless Heatsink, Dual 2.5GbE TSN and -40 to 75 °C

Outdoor cabinets and vehicle bays can sit well above 60 °C on a summer afternoon, which is where many small computers start to throttle. The Vecow SPC-9100-165U is the build in the SPC-9000 series for that, with a full finned heatsink and the Core Ultra 7 165U, rated to 75 °C with airflow and no fan.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 165U is a Meteor Lake-U processor with 12 cores, Intel graphics and an Intel AI Boost NPU rated at 11 TOPS. One DDR5 5600 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 48 GB. Intel vPro, TCC and TPM 2.0 are supported, which lets the SPC-9100-165U run inference, logging and remote management in hot locations, on Windows 11 or Linux.

Networking is two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports with TSN, and two COM ports configurable for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 carry 8 kV ESD protection. Displays run from HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and DisplayPort over a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A alongside. Storage is an M.2 2280 M key socket on PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA and an internal SATA III drive bay. An M.2 B key socket with an external nano SIM takes an optional 4G or 5G module, an M.2 E key socket takes optional Wi-Fi, and an optional SUMIT B module, in a customised chassis, can add 10GigE, 10G SFP+ or 4G.

Power is 9 to 55 V DC on a terminal block, with 16-mode software ignition control and a remote power switch terminal. The SPC-9100-165U is rated from -40 °C to 75 °C with airflow, with shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-64. Vecow lists CE, FCC and ICES marks and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 compliance. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, storage, any 5G module and antennas fitted. The SPC-9000-165U is the slimmer heat-spreader build, and the SPC-9100-135U is the Core Ultra 5 version.
