Shelf edges, counters and point-of-sale fixtures often leave a long, narrow space where a standard 16:9 screen would waste most of its area. The SH36N is a ViviSign stretched display built for that shape: a 36 inch bar-type LCD at 1920 x 532, with 500 nits and a 4500:1 contrast ratio.
The panel is a native stretched LCD, made as an uncut bar-type panel rather than a standard screen cut down to size, and it is rated for 24/7 operation. It offers 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so content stays legible to shoppers walking past at an angle. A narrow bezel helps it fit a shelf or counter fixture. ViviSign names point of sale, shelf displays and shelf edges as the intended uses.
The SH36N comes in two builds. As a monitor it takes two HDMI inputs and shows content from an external player or PC. The alternative build adds an Android 8.1 player with a quad-core Cortex-A35 processor, LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so content can run from the display itself. Within the same range, the SH293W offers 1920 x 720 at 29.4 inch and the SH366NT offers 1920 x 290 at 36.6 inch.
Power comes from an internal 100 to 240 V AC supply, drawing 60 W. The SH36N operates from 0 °C to 40 °C at 10 to 80% humidity, measures 895.5 x 265.68 x 61.1 mm and weighs 9 kg, and ships with a mounting bracket. Content is shown at the panel’s native 1920 x 532, so artwork should be designed for that canvas rather than scaled from a 16:9 layout.
