ViviSign SH48N 48″ Stretched Display with 3840 x 720 Bar-Type LCD and 1000 Nit Brightness

Shelf edges, counters and point-of-sale fixtures often leave a long, narrow space where a standard 16:9 screen would waste most of its area. The SH48N is a ViviSign stretched display built for that shape: a 48 inch bar-type LCD at 3840 x 720, with 1000 nits and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.

The panel is a native stretched LCD, made as an uncut bar-type panel rather than a standard screen cut down to size, and it is rated for 24/7 operation. It offers 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so content stays legible to shoppers walking past at an angle. At 1000 nits it suits well-lit shop floors. ViviSign names point of sale, brightly-lit retail spaces and public spaces as the intended uses.

The SH48N comes in two builds. As a monitor it takes two HDMI inputs and shows content from an external player or PC. The alternative build adds an Android 7.1 player with a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so content can run from the display itself. Within the same range, the SH476W offers 1920 x 360 at 47.6 inch and the SH485W offers 1920 x 360 at 48.5 inch.

Power comes from an internal 100 to 240 V AC supply, drawing 100 W. The SH48N operates from 0 °C to 40 °C at 10 to 80% humidity, measures 1220 x 251 x 58 mm and weighs 12 kg, and ships with a mounting bracket. Content is shown at the panel’s native 3840 x 720, so artwork should be designed for that canvas rather than scaled from a 16:9 layout.
