Winmate EACSW 8-Port Fast Ethernet Marine Switch with DIN-Rail and Wall Mounting

The EACSW is Winmate's unmanaged marine Ethernet switch with eight Fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports, auto MDI/MDI-X and auto-negotiation. Redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs, IP30 metal housing and DIN-rail or wall mounting suit marine bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore cabinets.

  • Eight Fast Ethernet Ports: Eight 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X and auto-negotiation, rated for 100 m runs per port.
  • Plug and Play Switching: An unmanaged switch that needs no configuration, so a cabinet can be wired and powered without a laptop on site.
  • Redundant 12 to 48 V DC: Dual redundant DC inputs from 12 to 48 V, drawing 4.71 W, so the switch rides through the loss of one supply.
  • DIN-Rail or Wall Mount: A fanless IP30 metal shell that fits DIN rail or a wall, in a slim size for crowded cabinets.
  • -15 to 55 °C Operation: Rated from -15 to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, with CE and FCC marks listed.
Thermal Dissipation: FanlessFanless
Certification: CECE

EACSW Overview

Marine control cabinets often need a handful of extra Ethernet ports for sensors, controllers and a local display, and an unmanaged switch is usually the simplest answer when no VLANs or monitoring are required. The EACSW is Winmate’s plug and play marine switch for that job, with eight Fast Ethernet ports and redundant DC power, intended for marine bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore operations.

Each of the eight RJ45 ports runs at 10/100 Mbps with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, so straight or crossover cables both work, and Winmate rates each link for 100 m. As an unmanaged switch the EACSW needs no set-up: devices connect and traffic flows, which keeps commissioning quick and leaves nothing to reconfigure after a part swap. Fast Ethernet suits most PLCs, I/O modules, serial servers and instrument gateways, where link speed is rarely the limit.

Power is two redundant DC inputs from 12 to 48 V, which lets the switch run from separate supplies so one failure does not take the segment down. Consumption is 4.71 W, low enough to share a small cabinet supply. Within the Winmate range the EACSW-L2 is the managed version with eight PoE Fast Ethernet ports, two Gigabit copper or SFP combo ports and ring redundancy, and the EACIL20-MR is a small fanless marine computer with dual Gigabit LAN that often shares a cabinet with a switch like this.

The fanless metal shell is rated IP30 and mounts on DIN rail or a wall, in a slim size that fits crowded cabinets. Winmate rates the EACSW from -15 to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, and it carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it tested before dispatch, and can advise on port count, power and how it fits alongside the computers and controllers in your cabinet.
