Winmate M101EK 10.1″ Rugged Tablet with Intel Celeron N6211, Hot-Swap Battery and GPS

A tablet that has to last a full shift in a van, on a site or out on a network route needs a battery that can be changed without losing work. The M101EK is Winmate’s 10.1″ rugged Windows tablet for that kind of field work, with an Intel Celeron N6211, a hot-swappable battery and four-system satellite positioning in an IP65 housing.

The Celeron N6211 runs at 1.2 GHz with turbo up to 3.0 GHz, and an Intel Pentium N6415 is an option. Memory is 4 GB as standard with 8 GB or 16 GB optional, and storage is a 128 GB SSD with 256 GB and 512 GB options plus a micro SD slot that takes SDXC cards. TPM 2.0 and a Kensington lock slot are included, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC is installed. The 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 screen gives 800 nits with optical bonding, anti-glare treatment and projected capacitive multi-touch.

Connections are one USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.0 Type-C port with 20 V Power Delivery input, an optional Micro HDMI output, an audio combo jack and a 19-pin docking connector. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou are built in, with 4G or 5G optional, and there are 2MP front and 8MP autofocus rear cameras. A 1D/2D barcode reader, HF RFID and add-on UHF RFID and smart card readers are optional. Within the Winmate range the M101AN is the same tablet with an Intel N150, and the M101EK-ME is the healthcare build with medical safety listings.

The M101EK is tested to MIL-STD-810G methods for shock, vibration and a 4 ft drop, and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. Winmate quotes around nine hours from the standard battery and 16 from the high-capacity pack. Power is 19 V DC, and an AC adapter and capacitive stylus are supplied. Docks, a vehicle cradle, a VESA kit and straps are optional. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch, ready to deploy.
