Winmate R08IE3S-PMU1 8.4″ Panel Mount Panel PC with Intel Celeron N6211 and 600 Nit SVGA Screen

Mounting an HMI into a control cabinet door keeps the operator screen flush and protected, but it needs a compact computer that fits behind the panel. The R08IE3S-PMU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch panel mount panel PC: a fanless Intel Celeron N6211 computer and an 800 x 600 screen in a metal housing with a flat front bezel and mounting clips.

The Intel Celeron N6211 is an Elkhart Lake processor running at up to 3.0 GHz, with the Celeron N6210 as an option. One DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket takes 4 GB as standard and 8 GB or 16 GB as options, and storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD with a 2.5 inch SATA bay available. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. The panel runs at 600 nits with 600:1 contrast, and resistive touch or protection glass are the front options.

Connections are two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port and an optional HDMI 2.0 output, with an M.2 E-key slot for a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module. The R08IE3S-CHU1 is the VESA chassis version with a front IP65 rating, and the R10IE3S-PMT2 is the 10.4 inch panel mount model.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, with a 12 V, 50 W AC adapter supplied. The R08IE3S-PMU1 is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 275 x 216 x 62 mm, weighs 1.9 kg and fits a panel cut-out with the supplied clips or mounts on 75 x 75 mm VESA. Please confirm the cut-out size with us, as the datasheet figures differ.
