FCCR08L100-MLU1 Overview
Vehicle crews and command posts need a display that survives shock and vibration, keeps dust and water out and does not upset the radios around it. The R08L100-MLU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch G-WIN defence display, built around an 800 x 600 panel in a fanless, IP65 sealed housing with a MIL-DTL-38999/1 power connector.
The 8.4 inch SVGA LCD delivers 600 nits with a 600:1 contrast ratio and 262K colours, behind AR protection glass that cuts reflections from cabin lighting. Viewing angles are 150° horizontally and 130° vertically. Touch is optional: Winmate offers 5-wire resistive touch, a resistive touch screen with an EMI mesh filter, or EMI glass for installations with strict emissions limits. Five front keys run the on-screen display menu.
Video comes in over VGA, with HDMI available as an option, and an optional RS-232 port carries touch data to the host. Winmate states compliance with MIL-STD-810G methods 514.6 (vibration), 507.4 (humidity) and 516.5 (transit drop), and with MIL-STD-461E/F/G tests including RE102, CE102 and CS118. For a larger screen at the same resolution, the R10L100-MLP1 moves to 10.4 inches, and the R10L100-MLT2 adds a 1024 x 768 panel.
Power is 12 V DC as standard, with a 9 to 36 V DC wide-range input as an option. The display operates from -20 °C to 60 °C and 10 to 95% RH, withstands 30 g operating shock for 18 ms, and is IP65 dust and water protected except at the I/O. It measures 277 x 219.5 x 59.7 mm, mounts on VESA holes and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names defence operations, field command and armoured vehicles as target applications.
