FCCR10L100-GST2 Overview
A touch screen on a machine or vehicle has to shrug off water, dust and vibration without losing the light tap operators expect from a phone. The R10L100-GST2 is Winmate’s 10.4 inch G-WIN GS display, combining projected capacitive multi-touch with an edge-to-edge front, full IP65 sealing and M12 waterproof connectors.
The 10.4 inch LCD runs at 1024 x 768 with 350 nits, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2M colours and 176° viewing angles. The PCAP touch screen sits flush with the edge-to-edge front, so there is no bezel step for dirt or water to collect in, and connects to the host over USB. Five keys on the rear control the on-screen display.
Power, VGA and USB touch connect through M12 waterproof connectors, and three I/O protective caps are supplied for unused ports. Winmate states compliance with MIL-STD-810F/G for vibration and shock. The R12L100-GSM2(HB) is the 12.1 inch GS model with a 500 nit panel and a 1000 nit option, and the W10L100-GSH2 offers the same GS design with a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 widescreen panel.
Power is 9 to 36 V DC on an M12 connector, which covers 12 V and 24 V supplies. The monitor operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 10 to 95% RH, withstands 40 g shock for 11 ms and vibration of up to 2.24 g rms from 5 to 500 Hz, and cools without a fan. It measures 252.41 x 197.8 x 43 mm and mounts on VESA holes or in a panel. It carries CE and FCC marks, and Winmate names industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as applications.
